Our Beginners 7 week yoga courses are designed for people who have never done yoga before and teach the foundations of Iyengar yoga. Students can come to any or all of the 6 Beginner Classes we run each week (listed below) for $140.
Students are introduced to the methodology of the Iyengar system including prop use, sequencing, timing and repetition of the introductory poses (asanas). Each week classes consolidate and then build on what was learnt the week before, ensuring steady development of the student.
At the completion of a Beginners course, students are eligible to enrol in General Level classes. These classes are suitable for all levels of fitness. If you have an injury or health concern, please call the studio to discuss your condition. All of our teachers are highly trained and experienced in guiding students through the introductory stages of yoga.
