3 Day Weekend Yoga Retreats

BIY is now running shorter 3 day yoga retreats to allow busy yoga students the time to come away and enjoy some ‘me’ time. The retreat is a perfect gift for you to take some time to deepen your experience and practice of Iyengar yoga, replenish and rejuvenate.

Winter Long Weekend Yoga Retreat

23 - 26 July 2020

Shayna is returning once again to Continental House to teach this three day yoga retreat. This will be the fifth time we have run our retreat at Conti - it is that good! Shayna has been studying and practising Iyengar yoga for 25 years and is known for her passion for the subject  and teaching clarity.

The retreat runs from 4pm on Thursday 23rd July to after lunch on Sunday 26th July 2020.

Attend 9 classes over the 3 days, be fed amazing vegetarian food prepared by Alexis Popoulis. Alexis has been researching and cooking with edible weeds for many years and he shares his fascinating weed knowledge with us. Who would have thought dock dolmades? Wild greens foraged locally? Simply delicious.

Share time and conversations with like-minded people, and relax in a beautiful and tranquil environment. Enjoy Continental House's authentic Turkish bath (hammam) - steam up and scrub down.

Attending a residential yoga retreat is an excellent way to get away from the distractions of everyday life and deepen your understanding of yoga.

Experience Required

All you need is six months yoga experience.

What to Bring

The venue has some basic yoga equipment (mats, blankets, foam blocks). In addition, can you please bring:

  • 2 yoga blankets
  • 1 belt
  • 2 shoulderstand pads
  • 1 bolster
  • 1 chair

Some of these items are available to borrow from our yoga school if you need.
