10 Class Pass and Casual Class Pass Policy

    • 10 Class passes expire 12 weeks from the date of purchase.
    • Beginner Casual Class passes and Casual Class passes expire 12 weeks from the date of purchase.
    • Beginners Casual Class passes can only be used in Beginners classes.
    • Students must purchase a class pass online or in-person at Ballarat Iyengar Yoga before attending any class.
    • Strictly one student per class pass. Passes are not transferable and cannot be shared between students.
    • Students can view their class pass balance via their on-line Ballarat Iyengar Yoga account.
    • There is no refund or exchange available on class passes.
    • Unused classes on class passes cannot be carried forward after the expiry date.
    • If you are unable to attend classes due to ill health, injury, trauma, grief or other exceptional circumstances and your 10 class pass expires, we may offer to extend the expiry date of your pass. We require that you contact us to arrange such an extension as soon as possible – before the expiry of the pass. We will not grant a pass extension after the pass has expired.
    • If a class is not adequately attended by a minimum of 5 students, the class may be cancelled.
    • Students will be notified of any class cancellations via email.

Beginners Course Policy

    • Beginners Courses run for a specified period (e.g. 5 or 6 weeks) from the start date of each course. Students can attend unlimited Beginners classes for the duration of each Beginners course.
    • Each Beginners Course Pass is valid for one entire Beginners course only. Students should attend classes from the beginning of the course. Missed classes in one course cannot be made up in another course. Missed classes cannot be made up by attending classes at another class level.
    • Beginners Course passes can only be used in Beginners classes. Students cannot attend General or Experienced level classes, or speciality classes (e.g. Over 55’s, Restorative, Pranayama), using the Beginners course pass.
    • Beginners Casual Class passes can only be used in Beginners classes. Students cannot attend other class levels or speciality classes using Beginners Casual Class passes.
    • Students must purchase a class pass online or in-person at Ballarat Iyengar Yoga before attending any class.
    • Strictly one student per course pass. Passes are not transferable and cannot be shared between students.
    • Occasionally Ballarat Iyengar Yoga will offer a ‘Mates Rates’ deal where 3 students can attend a Beginners course for the price of 2.
    • Free Beginners classes are not available. Students who wish to trial a class are welcome to attend a Beginners class casually using a Beginners Casual Class pass. Students who wish to sign up for the course after paying for a casual class can have the casual class pass fee deducted from the Beginners Course fee.
    • There is no refund or exchange available on Beginners Course Passes.
    • Unused or little used Beginners Course Passes cannot be carried forward after the course has finished.
    • If you are unable to attend classes due to ill health, injury, trauma, grief or other exceptional circumstances and your Beginners Course Pass expires, we may offer to defer your enrolment to the next Beginners course. We require that you contact us as soon as possible if such arrangements are required. We will not grant a deferment after the Beginners course has finished.
    • If a class is not adequately attended by a minimum of 5 students, the class may be cancelled.
    • Students will be notified of any class cancellations via email.

Membership Program Policy

    • Membership can only be paid for using our direct debit payment system.
    • Membership payments can be suspended if you are going away on holiday, travelling for business or unable to attend classes due to illness or injury.
    • Membership suspension is for a minimum of 2 weeks.
    • Membership cannot be suspended for 1 week only, but you can of course make up your missed classes.
    • To suspend your membership, notify the school by email at least 7 days prior to the suspension date.
    • You can change your membership, either upgrading to more classes or downgrading to fewer classes.
    • To change your membership, notify the school by email at least 7 days prior to the date you would like the change to be made.
    • If you miss a class or classes, you may make up your missed classes, provided you have not suspended your payments or changed your membership level.
    • Missed classes cannot be made up when a membership is inactive (i.e when payments have been suspended or ceased).
    • Missed classes do not expire, provided your membership is active, and your membership level has not been changed.
    • If you change your membership (e.g. downgrade your membership) then missed classes from the previous level of membership are forfeited.
    • If you are unsure whether membership will work for you, try a 10-class pass.
    • Given that our membership program provides such good value, you would have to miss a lot of classes before the cheaper option becomes a 10-class pass or casual single class passes.
    • For all membership enquiries and changes please email: office@ballaratyoga.com.au
